Pulmonary Medicine focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disorders and diseases affecting the respiratory system including the lungs, airways, chest wall, and thoracic cavity.  Symptoms such as shortness of breath, dyspnea on exertion, chest pain, chest pressure and chronic cough are typical of a possible underlying pulmonary condition.  Pulmonary Conditions can be diagnosed through various breathing tests such as pulmonary function testing and spirometry as well as ordering specific radiology studies and lab tests.  Our office provides a full on-site Pulmonary Function Testing laboratory, Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) tests and 6 Minute Walk testing performed by the provider.  Our Board-Certified Pulmonologist, Dr. Jason Shatkin, evaluates and treats patients for many pulmonary conditions including:
