Physician Assistant
Anthony Pacione is a well established Certified Physician Assistant who has been in practice since 2012. He previously practiced at Montefiore Medical Center, New York in a hospital medicine and cardiology setting before joining Physician Specialists of Northern Jersey in 2020. Anthony joined our Hospitalist program in collaboration with Dr. Jason Shatkin and Dr. Michael Gross to provide comprehensive medical care for our admitted patients at The Valley Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey. As a Hospital Care Practitioner, Anthony specializes in direct care for hospitalized in-patients with many different acute illnesses primarily in areas of Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Cardiology. Anthony manages all aspects of patient care while they are admitted, as well as providing pulmonary consultations to those patients with pulmonary ailments who require further care.
Anthony prides himself in being an excellent communicator, ensuring a direct line of contact between his patients, their family members/care givers, social workers and all other physicians involved in the patients’ care. He is effective in generating positive relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds, and provides exemplary compassionate health care to our patients.
Medical Professional Training
Anthony achieved his Bachelor’s of Science with a major in biology in May 2009 from Saint Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY. He then graduated with honors in the academic and clinical settings from Touro College of Manhattan in May 2012, with a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. While obtaining his Master’s degree, Anthony also completed clinical rotations in Interventional Cardiology at Lenox Hill Hospital and Orthopedic Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center.
